Employment Opportunities
There are many employment opportunities for people with instructional design backgrounds. Typically these opportunities are in training departments of large organizations or governmental agencies. Instructional designers also work in not-for-profit organizations that produce instructional materials or offer courses. There are many smaller companies that employ instructional designers to help them produce instruction in a variety of formats for their clients. Instructional designers also work free-lance to create instructional materials for clients.
